connection?
i am not just an object.
i am a reflection of a fragile attempt at unity between elements, places, and people.
concrete and glass are opposites at first glance, one heavy, rooted, brutalist; the other light, sharp, transparent.
but both are born from this earth. both are shaped by nature and time. both are human altered, industrialized, and yet, deeply natural.
design must do more than decorate. it must hold something. a possibility. a question. a story.
the kind that comes when we realize we are building faster than we are listening, that forests are being razed for expansion, rivers being choked for convience, and people being pushed apart with fear.
glass does not apologize for being fragile.
concrete does not apologize for being hard.
and yet, they find a way to meet, gently.
this is not a table.
it is a connection.
